This program is best when customized to fit your team’s goals and the issues that need resolution. Use this program for an established team or a team that has just begun to work together.

A variety of activities are used to help team members examine how they problem-solve, diagnose critical issues, understand communication preferences, and determine what they can do to be a more effective team member.

Team Facilitation for Fun

Objective: Reward for hard work, attainment of goals, new sales, or to raise morale

Team Facilitation for Better Interpersonal Relationships

Objective: Address communication issues that negatively affect working environment

Cross-functional Teamwork

It is important not only that individual teams work well but that all teams within the organization work well.

Creating the cross-functional teamwork environment can provide dramatic results for your company. Employees become more involved in a total team effort. Problems between departments can be avoided before slowing production, creating rifts, and negatively impacting the customer and the bottom line.

There are 4 objectives which can be achieved with this training:
  • Focus on the customer and the bottom line

  • Reduce interdepartmental barriers and perform as a total team

This half-day training takes place in an experiential environment. No lectures or plodding through a training manual. Participants will be selected to represent departmental teams. During the session team representatives will participate in a variety of exercises developed to accomplish the objectives of the session. Participants will debrief after each exercise to develop key learnings to take back to their teams.

Team members will develop skills around 3 key learnings:
  • Increase knowledge of functions and processes of other departments
  • Development of cross functional networks among teams
  • Awareness of impact of decisions on other teams

At the conclusion of the session participants will be given action plans to carry out as a cross functional team. A follow up session will be scheduled in which the participants will report their work as a cross functional team and develop new action plans to address their effectiveness as a cross functional team.
